The SAM Networks current objectives are:

We work to mobilize short-term teams to strategic partnerships in southern Africa. We are active on University campuses, and in all sorts of developing world mission’s opportunities. Last year we had 86 University U.S. students serving in SA, as well as four church teams totaling another 35 or so people. This year we are working with three more churches that are looking to partner through the SAM network!

Our original effort is still a significant part of what we do today. Since 2004 we have been working to plant student ministries on campuses in South Africa and across the sub-Saharan part of the continent. Ron serves as a bit of a student ministry mentor working along side six student ministry plants and with some of the most amazing people form both sides of the ocean.

Additionally we are working along side churches in South Africa to impact mission and missions’ efforts in Southern Africa. We work very closely with The Peoples Church of Constantia, a suburb of Capetown, and multiple other churches who are on the ground everyday making an impact.

We also work very directly and personally with the Zambia Project. The ZAM projects mission is to plant churches in rural western Zambia. This is a mostly forgotten and extremely rural region where many villages and villagers have yet to hear an accurate telling of Jesus story. Additionally, the Zambia Project (Operated by South African friends of Ron and Karen’s) ministers to the everyday needs of western Zambians. You can’t be the church and not care about the AIDS crisis, the subsequent orphan crisis, malnourishment and related poverty issues. But make no mistake; the primary mission is effective church planting with amazing discipleship and longevity strategies! We’d love to help mobilize your church team to be a part of this amazing project.

Here’s how you can help:

You can GO!
Everyone can and should consider going on a short-term missions trip. Taking a trip isn’t nearly as important as choosing to live missionally. However, going is a part of being missional. We
’d love to chat to anyone and everyone about how to participate by going!

You can GIVE!
It takes significant finances to make this mission happen. You can give online via
PayPal or you can invest via snail mail. Either way your giving is tax deductible and greatly appreciated. As always, thanks for helping us do what we do.

You can PRAY!
Jack Hayford says, “Prayer is invading the impossible.” The challenges are real, the warfare is intense, but God is faithful! We need and appreciate you caring and praying.
